Position: UX Designer

Location: New York City NY 10036

Term: 1 month

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Create concrete product experiences and UX solutions across Nuveen’s global website portfolio.
• Will be tasked with creating new design solutions, enhancing existing ones, , looking at pages and recommending page hierarchy, educating internal stakeholders on using our design system (or creating documentation) and helping maintain the design system across all sites.
• Work cross-functionally with peers across Product Management, Engineering, and UX Research and across team boundaries to strategically support your design choices.
• Deliver compelling design solutions and present them to stakeholders/senior leadership.

Is this a good fit? (Requirements):

• Bachelor's degree in Design, User Experience, Human-Computer Interaction, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Must be from SVA, Parsons, NYU or GA UX School/Program.
• Experience in finance.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional product teams (e.g., Engineering, Product Management, Design, etc.).
• Experience working on hard enterprise problems as well as the ability to develop solutions that meet technical requirements.
• Effective visual design skills.
• Excellent strategic and critical thinking mindset.
