Position: Sr. DevOps Engineer

Location: Detroit Michigan 48127

Term: 12 months

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage continuous delivery systems and methodologies.
• Implement systems that are highly available, scalable, and self-healing.
• Implement extensions to facilitate restricted 3rd party usage.
• Implement and automate security controls and compliance validation.
• Implement and automate all levels of validation.
• Define and deploy monitoring, alerting, common metrics, and logging systems.
• Design, manage and maintain tools to automate operational processes (i.e. the release pack).
• Administer, monitor, and deploy systems and services on local cloud platforms.

Is this a good fit? (Requirements):

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Relevant experience in the related technical field as software integration / release engineer.
• Experience with CI / CD (Jenkins).
• Experience scripting in Python, Perl, and shell.
• Automation experience in testing and tool integration (ALM and testing toolchains).
• Experience setting up build automation and artefact repositories (Artefactory).
• Good understanding of Security and Safety practices.
• Good understanding of Linux.
• Understanding of software development (C, C++, etc.)

Even better if you have:

• Experience with Cloud Technologies.
• Experience with GIT.
• Experience with Docker and container based build infrastructures
• Experience with web application development (Javascript, HTML).
