Position: DevSecOps Automation Engineer

Location: San Diego CA 92101

Term: 18 months

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Work with existing team with no automation experience and teach them how to be successful in utilizing an automated DevSecOps CI/CD test pipeline inside Azure.
• Establishes and maintains DevSecOps Automation usage guidelines, standards and best practices, to ensure tool use is efficient, effective and adheres to organizational compliance and security practices.
• Pair with existing Development teams, to teach the developers how to automate Unit Tests.
• Work with other automation engineers and manual testers to enable the Functional testing automation pipelines at a later stage.
• Develops and executes complex test strategies and plans across multiple departments, technologies, platforms.

Is this a good fit? (Requirements):

• Strong communication skills, with the ability teach as well as present to senior leadership.
• Must have in depth understanding of several unit testing tools with the most important being Microsoft unit testing Framework as well as a Java tool (JUnit, TestNG, etc.).
• Experience working on agile teams.
• Hands on experience with Azure DevOps / Teams Foundations pipelines.
• Experience on QA automation tools UFT, Selenium, Tosca, etc.

Even better if you have:

• Hand’s on experience using Microfocus ALM and UFT.
• Some experience giving feedback on CI/CD design and Architecture.
• Experience in creating data reporting via SQL.
