Position:  Business Integration Project Manager
Location: Raleigh, NC 27613
Term: 12 Month Contract


Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
 
  • Provide consistent, timely updates on schedule and demonstrate a track record of managing projects delivering large projects within a complex, matrix organization
  • Serves as the lead for the portfolio and interface with the business for the Program
  • Will exhibit strong analytical skills contributing to the identification and analysis of risks, issues, lessons learned, action items, technical team performance metrics, and will maintain crosswalks, and associated documentation within those areas
  • Preparation of managerial reports for approval by the MES Program Director (MPD) and distribution to the stakeholders is also a key task
  • Assist with leading IT stakeholder analysis and evaluation of the State Business Process Model's (BPM) alignment with or deviation from the Centers for Medicaid Medicare Services (CMS)-defined standards and conditions for IT systems
  • Focused on monitoring and managing project delivery, certification and compliance
  • Participation in drafting procurement documentation, Request for Proposals (RFPs) is key aspect
  • Interface with business stakeholders will occur daily

  • Required to have knowledge or experience managing projects for deploying systems using Agile and other methodologies
  • 7 years knowledge of Enterprise IT Systems and related State/Federal procurement, compliance, and contracting policies
  • 7 years Project management experience supporting and managing date-to-day vendor and contract activities to ensure that the project meets milestones
  • 7 years demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects, function in a fast-paced moving constantly changing, deadline driven environment
  • 7 years proficient use of Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Adobe software
  • 7 years skills in persuasion, negotiation, relationship management, conflict resolution, and effective oral and written communication at all levels
  • 7 years solid work experience managing implementation projects in the healthcare or related arena working with multiple stakeholders
  • 7 years solid work experience managing projects implementing healthcare or related systems including applicable data transmission and interface requirements

Desired Skills:
 
  • 2 years Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) or Certified Product Owner (CPO)
  • 7 years has an understanding of CMS’ Seven Standards and Conditions and Medicaid programs
