Our Large financial client is seeking outstanding innovative Product managers.

Job Description

This group is dedicated to serving as the catalyst for transformational change across the company, focusing on fostering the growth of big ideas that will efficiently influence business models, processes, and programs in order to meet evolving customer needs.   This team is dedicated to delivering upon innovation initiatives that are funded & post proof-of-concept. This role is in support of the Identity Management initiative which aims to reduce risk & drive revenue through development of best in class enterprise identity management capabilities.

• Be a subject matter expert in digital account open and identity management and drive pilot launches for our new innovative solutions.

Other responsibilities in this role will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Acting as a liaison between technical teams and supported lines of business by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of complex business problems to be solved with automated systems.

• Supporting developers and Quality Assurance (QA) team members throughout project execution life cycle following System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) standards and best practices.

• Acting as an internal consultant within technology teams by using quality tools and process definition/improvement to re-engineer technical processes for greater efficiencies.

• Assuring quality, security, and compliance requirements are met for supported area.

• Design integrated, end to end solutions addressing people, process and technology systems to meet the identified business needs

• Develop key business requirements in Project Charter, high level Epics and Features for the Business Identity Verification platform capabilities to be utilized by our technology teams to build the required solutions

• Oversee the management, agile development planning, and implementation of all technology development projects.

• Collaborate with key internal stakeholder groups including Technology, Product Management, CX, Customer Service, Risk & Compliance, and other cross-channel LOB partners to identify pain points, design capabilities, create the value proposition and complete the business case development

• Manage project risks and resourcing needs; resolve impediments

• Oversee technical implementation in the banking environment following all third party risk, information security & internal project delivery using agile methodology.

• Working with analytics and reporting to develop sufficient oversight of product implementations and reporting of effectiveness of capability, including KPI’s. Work with Finance to ensure forecasting is accurate.

• Responsible for vendor management, understanding vendor product roadmap, including being a subject matter expert on the vendor product. Collaborate with strategic sourcing, legal, and various control partners to facilitate vendor onboarding.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: digital customer experience, digital product/program management, digital platforms, or digital consulting

• 3+ years of product development or product management experience in financial services, managing banking products with focus on digital account opening

• 3+ years Small Business Digital Banking experience at financial services firm of FinTech, experience with CIP/CDD/KYC/KYB and Digital Account Open a plus.

• 3+ years of business systems analysis experience, business systems design experience, or a combination of both

• Bachelor’s degree or higher

• 3+ years of Financial services experience

• 3+ years of product owner experience in an agile development environment

• Knowledge and understanding of complex enterprise systems and frameworks including frontends, middleware, services layer, database, backend and downstream interfaces

• Knowledge and understanding of creation of sequence diagrams and web service level data mapping

• Experience with vendor management or vendor on boarding a plus

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

• Proven ability to interact with all levels of an organization - socialize ideas with and elicit feedback from multiple business stakeholders - Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority

• Quick learner with strong attention to detail and critical out of the box thinking
