Job Description:

We are looking for a Process Management Consultant to support our Digital/Deposits Banking team by centralizing the execution of enterprise-wide Business Process Mapping (BPM) efforts.

BPM is a management discipline used to understand end-to-end business processes so they can be better defined, streamlined, measured, improved, and governed. BPM creates a more efficient and effective way to deliver value to our business, customers and stakeholders through the following activities:

The successful candidate will project manage, execute, and support the deployment of BPM activities in our team by coordinating the different BPM efforts, such as facilitating meetings between different stakeholders and Product Owners, providing status updates, mapping key business processes, and supporting the implementation of action plans, as required. This person will need to be a self-starter, need little direction to execute deliverables per established timelines, as well as juggle a number of related yet tangential work, such as supporting the implementation of actions plans addressing existing issues.

Responsibilities

The business support consultant will be responsible for the following:

    1. Project Manage, lead, and execute BPM efforts, including but not limited to:
      • Mapping out deliverables and timelines
      • Facilitating meetings by identifying which stakeholders are needed in different meetings
      • Taking and summarize meeting notes, etc
      • Creating reporting, status updates etc
      • Mapping processes /editing existing process flows
      • Centralizing communication between Product Owners and BPM Leaders
    2. Collaborate with our Control Support Teams to support risk assessment activities, such as but not limited to:
      • Support with Issue Management: Regulatory issues-own process- high profile - urgent deadlines.
      • Understand what the issue root cause is and fix- end to end - manager the problem.

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will possess the following experience/skills:

    • Basic project management skills with strong organization and process skills
  • Self-starter, know how to project manage complex initiatives by gathering the appropriate stakeholders, providing adequate reporting and status updates
  • Know how to process map using VISIO
  • Have some experience with BPM/Six Sigma
  • Experience with banking products and processes, digital experience is preferred
  • Experience with risks and controls and exposure to issue resolution work is preferred
  • Tactical role: require someone who pays attention to details, is curious, and possess an end-to-end perspective of processes
  • Understanding how to navigate a matrix organization and being flexible with rapidly changing requirement
